WWE Hall of Famer Booker T has weighed in on the ongoing tension between MVP and Triple H—and he isn’t holding back.
Recently, MVP made headlines in a TMZ interview by blasting Triple H, admitting he has “zero respect” for the WWE Chief Content Officer. But according to Booker T, Hunter isn’t losing sleep over it.
On his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker made it clear that Triple H is far above the drama:
“I don’t think Triple H is thinking a whole lot about what MVP is saying. Those guys are in two totally different stratospheres in this business. People are going to say things, especially when they know they’re not going back.”
Booker doubled down, saying that Hunter operates on another level and doesn’t waste time trading shots:
“Bosses move in silence. Like Michelle Obama said, I’m gonna go high, man, every time.”
MVP Takes Shots at WWE’s Business Model
MVP didn’t just call out Triple H—he also went after WWE and parent company TKO for what he sees as corporate greed and skyrocketing ticket prices.
On TMZ’s Inside The Ring podcast, the former U.S. Champion explained that wrestling is becoming too corporate and is pricing out hardcore fans:
“There’s been an emphasis on profit without enough regard for the fans who helped make the company what it is… If no one’s buying tickets, watching the TV show, or ordering pay-per-views, then there’s no place for you to do what you want.”
He compared WWE’s model to the NFL and NBA, where family outings have become painfully expensive. In contrast, MVP praised AEW for staying closer to its “grassroots” fanbase.
The Bottom Line
While MVP continues to throw shade, Booker T believes Triple H won’t even bother responding. The two-time WWE Hall of Famer is confident that Hunter is too busy running the biggest wrestling company in the world to entertain outside noise.
