The Wyatt Sicks are about to get some serious competition for their WWE Tag Team Titles – and it’s from a duo fans know all too well.

On this week’s SmackDown in Orlando, a #1 Contender’s match decided who will step up to challenge Joe Gacy & Dexter Lumis of The Wyatt Sicks. The battle pitted The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) against the unlikely pairing of Carmelo Hayes and The Miz.

Before the bell, The Profits brushed off rumors of team drama, promising they were fully locked in on reclaiming tag team gold.

But it was their opponents who imploded. As the match heated up, Miz selfishly tagged himself in while Melo was setting up a big move. That tension boiled over, and The Profits took full advantage. Dawkins leveled Miz with a splash, kick, neckbreaker, and spinebuster, while Ford sealed the deal with a massive From The Heavens frog splash.

Melo had the chance to break up the pin but simply stood on the floor, refusing to save Miz.

With the victory, The Street Profits are officially next in line to face The Wyatt Sicks.

After the match, the eerie faction appeared at the commentary desk—Joe Gacy, Dexter Lumis, Erick Rowan, and Nikki Cross silently glaring at the Profits. Notably, Bo Dallas was absent from the group’s appearance.

Joe Gacy On What Makes The Wyatt Sicks Different

Gacy recently compared his new faction to his old NXT stable, The Schism, and explained the major difference:

“Schism was kind of lost… we didn’t really know where we were headed,” Gacy admitted. “But the Wyatt Sicks? We’ve all felt forgotten at one point. Now, we’re hungry, we’re united, and we finally have a clear direction.”

WWE hasn’t announced exactly when The Wyatt Sicks will defend their titles against The Street Profits, but one thing’s certain: when these two teams collide, it’s going to be chaos.
