Rhea Ripley might have walked out of WWE RAW victorious, but Asuka made sure everyone remembered who’s really pulling the strings.
For months, the tension between IYO SKY and The Kabuki Warriors had been simmering. Asuka grew increasingly jealous of SKY’s growing friendship with Rhea Ripley — and in true Empress fashion, she finally snapped. The betrayal was brutal, with Asuka unleashing her infamous poison mist right into IYO’s face, officially ending their alliance.
At WWE Crown Jewel, the fallout reached its peak. IYO SKY found an unlikely ally in Rhea Ripley, forming the powerhouse team known as “RHIYO.” The duo dominated, with Ripley flattening Kairi Sane with a Riptide before IYO sealed the deal with her Over The Moonsault. Fans erupted — and not kindly — showering Asuka with a fiery “F*** You Asuka” chant that Netflix had to censor.
But if anyone thought Asuka would take the loss quietly, they don’t know the Empress.
Asuka Gets Her Revenge
On the October 13 episode of RAW, Asuka stormed out with fury written all over her face. She slapped Kairi Sane and demanded she redeem herself for their Crown Jewel defeat — by taking down Rhea Ripley.
As the match unfolded, chaos erupted ringside. Asuka couldn’t resist interfering but was quickly stopped by IYO SKY, who finally got a bit of payback. Ripley, once again, overpowered Kairi Sane with a devastating Riptide for the win.
But just when fans thought it was over, Asuka had other plans. After the bell, she ambushed Ripley — smashing her with a DDT through the announce table after Sane stunned The Eradicator with a kendo stick!
Once again, Asuka stood tall — laughing maniacally as the crowd booed her out of the arena. Rhea Ripley may have won the match, but the Empress of Tomorrow proved she still owns the mind games.
