Braun Strowman — once one of WWE’s most dominant powerhouses — has officially slammed the door on any possibility of returning to the company that made him a global star.
The “Monster Among Men” had a rollercoaster run in WWE, packed with big moments, but also plagued by injuries and inconsistent booking that kept him from ever truly reaching his full potential. His relationship with WWE reportedly cooled off late last year, and when he was left off the WrestleMania 41 card, fans knew the writing was on the wall. Soon after, WWE released Strowman, signaling the end of an era.
But here’s the twist — Strowman isn’t bitter about it. In fact, he sounds relieved.
“Don’t believe the stuff you hear on these dirt sheets, because none of them are true,” Strowman said during an appearance on In the Kliq. “You’ll see me when I feel like letting you see me when it comes to that. But I’m really focused right now on the food space. I’ve got four movies I’m attached to next year and talks going on with a few TV shows.”
The former Universal Champion made it clear: he’s stepping away from wrestling and diving into Hollywood and business ventures — and he’s loving every second of it.
“I’m enjoying a little break because my body is finally starting to feel normal again,” he added. “I’m getting some of these injuries healed up that were nagging for years. I never really had time to recover — it was just go, go, go.”
While fans might hold out hope for one last WWE run, Strowman seems perfectly content writing a new chapter far away from the squared circle.
