According to a recent report from the Self Made Podcast, there’s growing speculation within WWE that certain individuals don’t want Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes sharing screen time — at least not yet.
“Some people believe that either Roman doesn’t want to be on-screen with Cody, or Cody doesn’t want to be on-screen with Roman — unless it leads directly to a match,” the report claimed.
Apparently, the concern is that putting both superstars together now would reignite fan demand for a Cody vs. Roman rematch — something WWE currently has no plans for.
