🔥 WWE’s Biggest Non-Mania Shock? SNME Explodes With Buzz, Orton Absent, Vince McMahon Rumors Shut Down
Saturday Night’s Main Event didn’t just deliver in the ring — it set Peacock on fire. According to NBCUniversal insiders, the latest SNME created more online buzz than any WWE premium live event on Peacock outside of WrestleMania, a massive statement for a show many fans didn’t expect to hit this hard.
Of course, big events bring big rumors — and this one was no different.
Despite wild speculation online, Vince McMahon did NOT appear at the show. Sources say he was never scheduled to attend in the first place. The same goes for former U.S. President Donald Trump, whose name also circulated heavily before the event. However, Linda McMahon and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. were both in attendance, adding some star power to the night.
One notable absence did leave fans and WWE insiders disappointed.

Randy Orton missed the event, as he was overseas in Saudi Arabia promoting next month’s Royal Rumble. Backstage chatter suggested many wished Orton could’ve been there, especially to witness John Cena’s final match. Still, Cena wasn’t short on support — CM Punk, Bayley, and several other WWE stars were spotted in the crowd watching the emotional moment unfold.
And once the cameras stopped rolling, Cena didn’t rush out.
The 16-time world champion reportedly stayed long after the show ended, hugging colleagues, saying his goodbyes, and taking photos with WWE talent and staff — a quiet, heartfelt farewell to the company he helped define for over two decades.
Saturday Night’s Main Event wasn’t just a show — it felt like history.
