🔥 From “Not a Wrestler” to WWE’s Most Reliable Star? Even Bubba Ray Dudley Can’t Ignore LA Knight Anymore 🔥
LA Knight’s journey in WWE has been anything but smooth — and that’s exactly why fans connect with him so deeply. When Knight first arrived on the main roster in 2022, few believed he would become a major player. Under Vince McMahon, he wasn’t even treated like a true competitor, instead being cast as a valet for a struggling tag team. For many, it felt like his WWE dream was slipping away before it ever truly began.
Everything changed once Triple H took control. LA Knight reclaimed his persona, unleashed his natural charisma, and quickly became one of the loudest crowd favorites in the company. His mic work turned heads, his catchphrase “Yeah!” became a chant heard in arenas worldwide, and his momentum eventually led to two WWE United States Championship reigns.
And now, even one of his harshest critics is giving him his flowers.

On Busted Open Radio, WWE Hall of Famer Bubba Ray Dudley praised Knight’s recent performances — despite a tough loss to Gunther that saw him tap out. According to Bubba, the loss didn’t hurt Knight’s stock at all. In fact, it did the opposite.
“We have hope for LA Knight,” Dudley said, explaining that everything about Knight’s presentation worked. From creative planning to in-ring execution, the story made sense — and Knight delivered.
Bubba went on to credit Knight for how he handled the setback, especially acknowledging his rough stretch on-screen. “Things haven’t been going so great for me lately,” Knight admitted — a moment Bubba called honest, relatable, and exactly what a strong babyface should do.
While Knight continues to impress, fans remain divided. Many believe he’s being held back and deserves a full push into the main-event scene — even a World Championship run. For now, WWE seems content keeping him in the upper mid-card, despite his consistent reactions and performances.
Still, if even Bubba Ray Dudley is backing LA Knight now, it might only be a matter of time before WWE finally pulls the trigger.
One thing is certain — LA Knight isn’t going anywhere.
Yeah. 🔥
