🔥 Seth Rollins Drops Major Injury Update — Confirms Surgery for 3-Time WWE Champion, Plus a Shawn Michaels Rehab Surprise!

Seth Rollins has finally opened up about the injury that forced him off WWE television — and the details are bigger than fans expected.

The Visionary has been sidelined since suffering a serious shoulder injury at Crown Jewel, an issue severe enough that it cost him the World Heavyweight Championship. With Rollins out, WWE scrambled to change plans, holding a tournament that ultimately saw CM Punk defeat Jey Uso to capture the title.

Now, Rollins has confirmed what many feared: he underwent shoulder surgery to repair the damage.

Rehab With a WWE Legend?!

While speaking to former NFL star Julian Edelman on Games with Names, Rollins revealed an unexpected rehab partner — Shawn Michaels.

According to Rollins, Michaels had both knees replaced during the same week Rollins went in for surgery. The two WWE icons found themselves rehabbing side by side, a moment Rollins described as surreal.

“Shawn Michaels just got both of his knees replaced the same week I had my shoulder surgery. Shawn was down there in rehab, and there I am next to Shawn Michaels. He’s my peer now. It’s this weird thing where I’ve become one of them.”

For Rollins, it was a full-circle moment — training alongside one of his childhood heroes as an equal.

What’s Next for Seth Rollins?

While WWE hasn’t announced an official return date, all signs point to Rollins being back before WrestleMania 42. His rivalry with CM Punk is expected to continue once he’s cleared, though WWE was forced to abandon its original storyline plans.

Before the injury, the long-term direction reportedly involved Bron Breakker turning on Rollins after WrestleMania. Instead, WWE pulled the trigger early, having Breakker attack Rollins and write him off TV due to the injury.

For now, Seth Rollins is focused on recovery — but if history tells us anything, The Visionary’s comeback could be one of the biggest moments heading into WrestleMania 42. 👀
