The legendary duo is set to headline the night, teaming up to face AAA Mega Champion and WWE Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio alongside El Grande Americano in the blockbuster main event.
AAA shared a behind-the-scenes video on their official X (formerly Twitter) account that quickly caught fans’ attention. In the clip, Penta can be seen chatting with Rey Mysterio and Rey Fenix ahead of the massive tag team showdown. During the emotional moment, the RAW Superstar personally apologized to his brother for not being able to fight by his side on such a huge stage.
The scene was especially powerful given what was originally planned.
Penta was initially scheduled to team with Rey Fenix against Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano at Guerra de Titanes. Unfortunately, those plans were derailed after Penta suffered an injury while performing a risky spot during a match against Solo Sikoa in The Last Time Is Now Tournament. The setback forced AAA to pivot, bringing in Rey Mysterio as Fenix’s partner instead.
