🔥 “We’ve Taken Heat for SIX Years!” — Seth Rollins Fires Back at WWE Saudi Arabia Critics Ahead of Royal Rumble 2026
The WWE–Saudi Arabia partnership has sparked controversy for years, and even now, the debate refuses to cool down. But this time, one of WWE’s biggest stars isn’t staying quiet.
In a brutally honest interview, Seth Rollins directly addressed the backlash, defending WWE’s Saudi shows and revealing how his own mindset has changed since the deal began.
Seth Rollins Breaks His Silence
Speaking on the Mohr Stories podcast, Rollins made it clear that the criticism isn’t new—and it doesn’t surprise him.
“We’ve been going there for six years, we’ve been taking sh*t for six years,” Rollins said bluntly.
According to Rollins, singling out Saudi Arabia makes little sense. He compared the deal to WWE’s business relationships in the United States, pointing out that the company partners with countless corporations and governments worldwide.

“I Wasn’t Sure At First…”
What makes Rollins’ comments more compelling is his honesty. He admitted that he was skeptical when WWE first went to Saudi Arabia in 2019.
“I don’t know about this, I don’t know how I feel about it,” he recalled.
But after performing there consistently for six years, Rollins says his perspective has shifted completely.
The Biggest Change Fans Can’t Ignore
Rollins highlighted a major evolution in the Saudi events—the inclusion of women.
In the early days, female performers were noticeably absent, both on-screen and backstage. That’s no longer the case.
“Now we go there, and it’s just like a WWE show,” Rollins explained.
Women now compete regularly, production teams have diversified, and the overall presentation mirrors WWE’s global product.
Love It or Hate It—WWE Isn’t Backing Down
With WWE preparing for even bigger Saudi events and the Royal Rumble 2026 looming, Rollins’ comments add fuel to an already heated discussion.
Whether fans agree or not, one thing is clear: Seth Rollins believes the shows have evolved—and he’s done apologizing for being part of them.
