🔥 Kevin Nash Goes Scorched Earth: “Is CM Punk Done?” — And Why He Says Gunther’s Heat Isn’t Real

WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash didn’t hold back on the latest episode of Kliq This, firing blunt shots at two of the biggest names in today’s WWE landscape—CM Punk and World Heavyweight Champion Gunther. And if Nash’s words are any indication, controversy is just getting started.

Kevin Nash Raises Alarming Questions About CM Punk

Nash zeroed in on CM Punk’s recent main-event performances, and what he saw didn’t impress him. Watching Punk closely, the former nWo icon felt the longtime star might be nearing the end of the road inside the ring.

“I watched him closely,” Nash said. “He looked slow. To me, it looks like it’s time.”

That wasn’t the only red flag. Nash also took issue with Punk competing in high-profile matches while wearing a t-shirt, arguing that it hurts the credibility of someone positioned at the very top of the card. In Nash’s eyes, main-event stars need to look like main-event stars—and Punk’s current presentation doesn’t meet that standard.

Nash Calls Out Gunther’s “Fake Heat”

Nash then shifted his focus to Gunther, a champion many fans believe has mastered the art of drawing crowd hostility. While Nash admitted Gunther receives strong reactions, he questioned whether that response is truly authentic.

“He’s got the closest thing to heat on that show,” Nash said. “But it’s not real heat.”

According to Nash, real heat doesn’t play nicely within WWE’s structure. True nuclear reactions should disrupt the show—no clean entrances, no polite boos, and definitely no calm walk back up the ramp.

What “Real Heat” Looks Like, According to Big Kev

Nash explained that genuine heat forces management to react on the fly. If a wrestler truly enrages the audience, the show can’t just move on as planned.

In Gunther’s case, Nash pointed out that WWE still allows full entrances, structured segments, and orderly exits—something that wouldn’t happen if the crowd reaction was truly uncontrollable.

A Debate That’s Just Getting Started

Nash’s comments are already sparking heated debate among fans. Is CM Punk showing signs of physical decline—or is this just another legend being overly critical? And is Gunther’s dominance fueled by real hatred or expertly crafted booking?

One thing’s for sure: when Kevin Nash speaks, the wrestling world listens—and argues. 👀
