Booker T Sees a Monster Push Coming for Oba Femi on WWE’s Main Roster

Oba Femi’s NXT chapter may be over, but if Booker T is right, the most dominant phase of his career is just getting started. Speaking on the latest episode of the Hall of Fame podcast, the WWE legend shared glowing praise for Femi after the powerhouse vacated the NXT Championship at New Year’s Evil on January 6. The moment didn’t feel like a loss or an ending to Booker T — it felt like a dramatic exit signaling something much bigger ahead.

Booker T described Femi’s run in NXT as special, calling him “The Ruler” and “The Conqueror” of the brand. Watching Femi place the title in the center of the ring and walk away gave off final-scene energy, as if NXT had just witnessed the end of an era.

What stood out most, though, was Booker T’s confidence that this move was carefully planned. He made it clear he wasn’t surprised by WWE’s decision to elevate Femi now. According to him, stars like Oba Femi can’t be rushed or mishandled — they have to arrive on the main roster at peak momentum.

Booker T believes WWE is doing exactly that by bringing Femi in “white hot.” In his view, Femi has the kind of presence and credibility that demands immediate impact, not a slow build.

He even compared Femi’s potential main roster run to Goldberg’s legendary rise, suggesting Oba could go on a long unbeaten streak before finally meeting the one opponent capable of stopping him. In fact, Booker T went a step further, predicting that Femi could win his very first title opportunity on the main roster — something very few stars ever achieve.

With expectations pointing toward a move to RAW and Booker T publicly backing him as a future top attraction, all eyes are now on Oba Femi’s next step. If WWE follows the path Booker T is envisioning, the main roster may soon have a new unstoppable force on its hands.
