The former WWE World Champion has been officially nominated for Worst Actor at the upcoming 46th Golden Raspberry (Razzie) Awards, an annual ceremony that spotlights the most disappointing performances in film. The event traditionally takes place just one night before the Oscars, making the contrast even sharper.
Bautista earned the nomination for his role as Boyce in In the Lost Lands, where he starred alongside longtime action icon Milla Jovovich. The movie, adapted from a short story by Game of Thrones creator George R.R. Martin, follows a dark fantasy tale centered on a witch and a hunter searching for a powerful and dangerous artifact.
While the concept generated early curiosity, Bautista’s performance clearly failed to impress Razzie voters — and he’s not alone in the category.
