Is The OTC Returning Tonight? Major Update on Roman Reigns’ RAW Status
The WWE Universe has been on the edge of their seats since the credits rolled on last week’s explosive episode of Monday Night RAW. After a tense final segment that left fans begging for more, everyone is asking the same question: Will the Head of the Table, Roman Reigns, be there to address the fallout?
Following his victory at the 2026 Royal Rumble, Reigns is once again set to headline The Show of Shows. He is on a collision course with CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship. Their war of words has already turned personal and visceral. A few weeks ago, Reigns cut deep, blaming Punk for derailing his babyface run years ago by appearing on Colt Cabana’s podcast. However, last week, “The Best in the World” fired back in the most brutal way possible, vowing to bury The OTC right next to his late father, the legendary Sika Anoa’i.
With tensions at an all-time high, logic would dictate that The Tribal Chief would storm to the ring tonight to retaliate. But according to the official schedule, it looks like we might have to wait just a little bit longer for that response.
Why Roman Reigns Is Missing From Tonight’s Card

WWE General Manager Adam Pearce took to social media to hype up tonight’s broadcast, and the lineup is stacked. The GM confirmed a massive Gauntlet Match to determine the next contender for the Women’s Intercontinental Title. Fans will also see Oba Femi go to war with Rusev, while Penta puts his Intercontinental Title on the line against “OG” Chad Gable. Additionally, CM Punk is scheduled to appear live.
Notice someone missing?
Despite the heated personal angle with Punk, Roman Reigns was notably absent from Pearce’s official announcement for the March 9 episode. According to the latest travel and appearance schedules released by the company, The OTC is not slated to appear on the red brand until March 16.
Unless WWE is playing a very close game to the vest and plans to swerve the audience with a surprise unannounced appearance, it is highly unlikely that Reigns will walk through the curtain tonight.
While that might be a disappointment for fans hoping for immediate fireworks, the silver lining is that once he returns, he is slated to be a fixture on the show for the next three weeks straight as we continue down the road to WrestleMania. For now, it seems The OTC is letting the tension simmer just a little while longer.
