WWE Fans Can Finally Breathe Easy: LA Knight Breaks Silence on Scary Injury Scare
It was the moment that sent a chill down the spine of the WWE Universe. Following this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, eagle-eyed fans noticed something alarming: a significant swelling on LA Knight’s elbow.
As the image made the rounds on social media, panic began to set in. With WrestleMania 42 looming on the horizon—just weeks away—the immediate fear was that the megastar’s biggest moment of the year might be in jeopardy.
But for those worried that the “Megastar” was about to be sidelined, Knight himself has stepped up to shut down the speculation.

In a post that has since put the WWE Universe at ease, Knight addressed the concern head-on, revealing that the injury looks far worse than it actually is. He confirmed the issue is a minor bursa flare-up—a condition known as bursitis that, while unsightly, isn’t going to keep him out of the ring.
“Being on the backend of a bursa flare-up won’t keep me from the road to WrestleMania,” Knight wrote, making it clear that his path to The Showcase of the Immortals remains uninterrupted.
While Knight hasn’t stepped between the ropes for a match since the Elimination Chamber on February 28, his presence on television has been anything but quiet. He has been a central figure in the ongoing chaos surrounding The Vision, mixing it up with Paul Heyman, Austin Theory, and Logan Paul, while recently forging a powerful alliance with The Usos.
Though his name has yet to be officially penciled into the WrestleMania 42 card—set for April 18 and 19—Knight’s latest update serves as a promise to fans: he will be ready when the time comes.
