The war between Roman Reigns and CM Punk has officially exploded, and new footage reveals just how badly the fallout from WWE RAW truly hurt The Tribal Chief.
During a chaotic main event at Madison Square Garden, what was supposed to be a final build toward WrestleMania 42 turned into a one-sided demolition. The two legends brawled relentlessly, with Reigns even taking out his frustration on ringside officials before spearing Petey Williams. But in the end, it was Punk who stood tall.
In the closing moments of the broadcast, The Second City Saint hoisted Reigns onto his shoulders and drove him violently through the announce table. As the cameras faded out, Punk stood over his rival, delivering a vicious verbal beatdown that left the WWE Universe stunned.
Now, off-air fan footage has surfaced, capturing a rare and vulnerable side of Roman Reigns. In the clip, the OTC is seen still sitting amongst the wreckage of the table, visibly shaken. With the crowd noise fading around him, Reigns sat motionless, seemingly lost in thought as he processed the humbling attack.

But while Reigns is licking his wounds, he is already looking toward the future. During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the Original Tribal Chief was asked about Hollywood star Jason Momoa potentially stepping into the ring.
“Oh, he’s the man,” Reigns said. “He’s got obviously all the tools, physically. He has great charisma. If you’ve been around him—yeah—and he’s eccentric, he’s a little bit different. So I think he would fit in good with us, for sure.”
Reigns even joked that Momoa could take his spot once his own legendary career comes to an end.
With WrestleMania just days away and Punk holding all the psychological momentum, fans are now questioning whether Reigns can recover in time to reclaim his throne—or if the damage done at MSG has already sealed his fate.
