John Cena Just Dropped His Biggest Post-Retirement Move Yet And Nobody Saw It Coming
If you thought John Cena was done stealing the spotlight after his retirement, think again.
The former WWE champion is already packing his bags for a massive return during WrestleMania 42 week. But here is the twist—Cena won’t be stepping into the ring this time. Instead, he is taking on a role nobody expected.
The Cenation Leader shocked fans back in December when he officially hung up his boots after a final showdown with Gunther at Saturday Night’s Main Event. That felt like the end of an era. But now, Fanatics Events has confirmed that Cena is heading to WWE World for a live, unfiltered conversation with another legend.

He will be sitting down with The Undertaker for a live recording of the Six Feet Under podcast on April 18. No scripts. No filters. Just two icons talking in a way you will not hear anywhere else.
Meanwhile, a scrapped plan involving Cena has just come to light. Drew McIntyre recently opened up to Chris Van Vliet about what was originally supposed to happen during Cena’s retirement tour. According to McIntyre, there were serious talks about him facing Cena at Crown Jewel in Australia. But at the last minute, something changed.
McIntyre explained that plans fell apart, and Cena ended up wrestling AJ Styles instead. The Scottish Warrior did not hide his disappointment, saying crap happens when a path does not work out. He admitted there was even another match idea that involved more than he is allowed to reveal.
With both Cena and McIntyre potentially crossing paths at WrestleMania 42, fans are already wondering if that unfinished business will finally get addressed. One thing is certain. John Cena is not fading away quietly.
