MJF Just Made a Massive Claim About AEW That WWE Fans Are Going to Hate
AEW World Champion MJF isn’t known for holding back, and his latest social media outburst is already setting the wrestling world on fire.
In a heated response to fans debating which promotions are worth watching right now, MJF declared that there is only one company truly on fire. His message was blunt: no other promotion comes close.
The AEW champion wrote on X that fans shouldn’t bother playing games with the usual debates. In his own words, there is only one company to watch that is truly on fire right now, and that is AEW on TBS, TNT, and HBOMAX.
The statement came after one fan tried to defend AEW by taking a shot at WWE’s recent celebrity strategy, mentioning that AEW does not need to rely on names like Jellyroll or former NFL punters to sell tickets as Wrestlemania 42 approaches. That comment opened the door for MJF to double down on his confidence.

Not everyone agreed with the champion. Some fans fired back with predictions that MJF will eventually jump to WWE. One critic argued that he cannot be considered a true top-tier star without a WrestleMania moment on his resume.
MJF shut that argument down immediately, refusing to entertain the idea that his legacy needs anything outside of AEW.
While MJF talks a big game online, he has to back it up in the ring very soon. He is currently in his second reign as AEW World Champion, having reclaimed the title from Samoa Joe in late 2025. His next challenge is massive.
MJF puts his championship on the line against Kenny Omega at AEW Dynasty 2026 on April 12 in Vancouver, British Columbia. The card for that show is already stacked:
- MJF vs. Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship
- FTR vs. Adam Copeland and Christian Cage for the AEW Tag Team Titles
- Thekla vs. Jamie Hayter for the AEW Women’s Championship
- Jon Moxley vs. Will Ospreay for the AEW Continental Championship
- Darby Allin vs. Andrade El Idolo (Allin gets a world title shot if he wins)
- Marina Shafir vs. Alex Windsor on the pre-show
Love him or hate him, MJF is making sure all eyes are on AEW heading into Dynasty.
