WWE Legend Paul Heyman Destroys New Jersey Newscaster After Embarrassing Chair Fail on Live TV

A live TV moment went horribly wrong for a New Jersey newscaster when his clumsy attempt to attack WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman backfired in the most embarrassing way possible.

During a recent episode of Good Day New York on Fox 5, anchor Dan Bowens decided to surprise Heyman by sneaking up behind him with a chair. He slammed it on the floor to startle the wrestling icon, then shouted about Seth Rollins and claimed that Gunther couldn’t save Heyman anymore.

But Heyman didn’t flinch. Instead, he sat there completely calm and dared Bowens to take a real swing.

That’s when things got ugly.

Bowens raised the chair, stepped forward, and slipped—nearly eating the floor on live television. What happened next was even worse. Heyman, famous for his sharp tongue, immediately tore into the newscaster with a series of brutal insults.

When Bowens asked if Heyman was afraid, the WWE legend fired back with a line that cut deep: “No, because I heard you are from New Jersey.”

The roasting didn’t stop there. Heyman actually stopped to show Bowens the correct way to hold a chair, then added another dagger: “What part of Jersey are you from?”

The awkward, failed ambush has since gone viral, with viewers cringing and laughing at the newscaster’s expense. Heyman, now 60, proved once again that you don’t need to throw a punch to completely destroy someone on live TV.
