Roman Reigns Just Made a Massive Mistake That Could Bring a Former World Champion Straight to The Bloodline’s Doorstep

Sometimes, even the wisest king makes a move that backfires. Roman Reigns walked out of WrestleMania 42 still holding the World Heavyweight Championship, but his latest power play might be the very thing that destroys everything he has buil

Roman Reigns is not satisfied with just being the champion on Raw. After forcing Jacob Fatu to acknowledge him at WrestleMania, the Head of the Table has set his sights on total company domination. His plan is simple. He wants Jey Uso to win the King of the Ring tournament, dethrone Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam, and bring the Undisputed WWE Championship back into the family.

There is just one massive problem standing in the way. His name is Gunther.

The Ring General is still fuming after his controversial loss to Cody Rhodes at Clash in Italy. Everyone saw Gunther’s leg under the rope during that final pinfall, except for the referee. He feels robbed, and he is not going to just walk away from the title picture.

Now imagine what happens when Jey Uso steps into that same ring and declares himself the next challenger for Cody’s gold. Do you really think Gunther is going to sit back and watch someone else take what he believes is rightfully his? Not a chance.

Gunther will likely try to take Jey Uso out of the equation. But attacking Jey is like poking a beehive with a stick. Roman Reigns has made it crystal clear that he wants his family on top. He will not tolerate anyone touching one of his closest allies. That means the full force of The Bloodline will come crashing down on the Austrian giant.

This is where things get dangerous for Reigns. A war with Gunther opens a door that Roman might want to keep shut. If Jacob Fatu and the rest of the group surround Gunther, the former world champion will need backup. And in WWE, when a dominant force needs backup, they usually call the one person who is not afraid of Roman Reigns.

A fresh rivalry between Jacob Fatu and Gunther would be a dream match for fans. Two of the most physically dominant stars in the company have never had a real feud on the main roster. But if Fatu gets involved, Gunther will not come alone.

There is also a twist in the road. While Roman wants Jey to win the King of the Ring, backstage sources say the company has other plans. According to SelfMadePW, Seth Rollins is the one slated to win the tournament and challenge Roman Reigns at SummerSlam. The Visionary already proved he is on a mission by taking down Bron Breakker on Raw.

So here is the bottom line. Roman Reigns is playing chess while standing on a minefield. He wants his family to own everything, but every move he makes seems to create a new enemy. Whether it is Gunther coming for Jey or Seth Rollins coming directly for him, the OTC might finally learn that having too much power just means you have more people trying to take you down.
