Backstage News on WWE Potentially Signing More International Women’s Wrestling Stars
WWE has been on a recruitment drive in 2024, bringing in several international stars. Despite rumors of interest in U.K. indie star Rhio, Fightful Select reports she has yet to join the promotion. However, sources close to Australia’s Delta Brady suggest she has signed with WWE after completing her recent commitments.
According to the report, Rhio visited the Performance Center but wasn’t offered a deal at that time, though she remains on the company’s radar. She previously appeared on “NXT UK” in 2019. Delta Brady attended a tryout during WWE’s visit to Australia for this year’s Elimination Chamber event.
While it’s uncertain if Rhio and Brady will ultimately sign with WWE, fans can anticipate the arrival of other international stars. British-Japanese sensation Giulia is expected to join WWE soon, having reportedly signed a contract earlier this year. WWE officials are allowing her to finish her existing commitments before debuting.
In addition, Stephanie Vaquer has already signed with WWE after turning down AEW. The Mexican star has appeared at live events and hinted at joining a “WWE Raw” stable, suggesting she’s eager to start her WWE career. Only time will reveal the company’s plans for the former CMLL and NJPW star.
