🔥 “Casualty of the Business” – Booker T Breaks Silence on WWE’s Shocking Talent Cuts, Defends the Company’s Tough Decisions 🔥

WWE fans are still reeling after a wave of unexpected releases shook up the roster — and while many are pointing fingers at the company, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T is standing firm in his defense of the decision.

The two-time Hall of Famer didn’t mince words on his Hall of Fame podcast, delivering some tough love to the young generation of wrestlers trying to make it big.

💬 Booker T’s Message: “The Clock Is Ticking Every Second”

Addressing the controversial cuts, Booker urged WWE’s rising stars to treat every opportunity like it’s their last.

“We gotta talk about the releases,” Booker said. “I wanna wise some of these young guys up — you really gotta understand how serious this thing is and how the clock is ticking every second.”

He emphasized that talent alone isn’t enough to guarantee success, citing recently released Wes Lee as an example.

“You can have all the talent in the world, but that’s not what gets you to the next level. Wes Lee’s a guy I thought was safe — but NXT is developmental. He’s been there for five years. If you’ve been there that long and still aren’t seen as main roster-ready, you might be one of those cuts.”

⚡ “Don’t Just Be Happy to Be Here”

Booker didn’t hold back when talking about complacency among younger wrestlers.

“If you’re just happy being a part of it, that’s not enough. Wes Lee’s talent was extraordinary, but this system is about growth. You’ve got maybe two, two and a half years to prove yourself.”

He also mentioned Ridge Holland as another example of someone who, despite opportunities, never quite broke through to the next level.

“Ridge Holland’s been around for a while and never really crashed through. Sometimes, you just have to say, ‘We’re going in another direction.’ Everyone else on that list? Just a casualty of the business.”

💔 The Harsh Reality of WWE

While fans might view WWE’s cuts as ruthless, Booker T sees them as part of the game — a reminder that wrestling is not just about passion, but performance.

“This is the business,” Booker concluded. “It’s tough, but if you want to make it, you’ve got to stay hungry, stay sharp, and never stop proving yourself.”

💥 Bottom Line:
Booker T’s take might sting, but it’s a reality check for every aspiring WWE Superstar — in a world where only the best survive, passion without progress won’t keep you safe from being another “casualty of the business.”
