Brandi Rhodes Backs Cody After His Shocking Non-PG Line on WWE SmackDown
Cody Rhodes may not have won the Men’s Royal Rumble, but he made sure everyone was talking after SmackDown—and his wife, Brandi Rhodes, didn’t exactly deny the moment either.
Coming off his Royal Rumble disappointment, Rhodes appeared laser-focused on SmackDown and officially declared himself for the Men’s Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match. The former Undisputed WWE Champion delivered an intense promo that quickly took an unexpected turn when he responded to CM Punk’s recent comment about his match with Roman Reigns being a “d*ck-measuring contest.”
Cody fired back with a non-PG remark of his own, joking that he was glad he wasn’t part of that match and adding that he “didn’t get the nickname Raheem for no reason.” The line immediately raised eyebrows among fans watching live.

Not long after, Brandi Rhodes added fuel to the fire on social media. Reacting to the clip, she posted a GIF with the caption “Well,” followed by “It’s true though,” a response that many fans interpreted as a playful confirmation of Cody’s bold claim.
While the moment grabbed attention online, the bigger story may be what’s next for The American Nightmare. According to Wrestling Observer reports, WWE is currently planning for Cody Rhodes to challenge newly crowned Undisputed WWE Champion Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 42. The report also suggests Jacob Fatu could be inserted into the storyline, potentially turning the match into a high-stakes Triple Threat.
Rhodes and McIntyre have a long, heated history. McIntyre shocked the WWE Universe earlier this year by defeating Cody in a brutal Three Stages of Hell match to capture the title, with interference from Jacob Fatu playing a major role in Rhodes losing his championship.
With Elimination Chamber looming and WrestleMania season heating up, Cody Rhodes remains firmly in the spotlight — both for his championship ambitions and for moments that keep fans talking long after the show goes off the air.
