Bray Wyatt Personally Chose His Legendary WWE Theme — Mark Crozer Reveals the Untold Story
Bray Wyatt’s haunting entrance music, “Broken Out In Love” (later renamed “Live in Fear” by WWE), became one of the most unforgettable themes in wrestling history. From 2012 to 2017, the eerie track perfectly matched Wyatt and his cult-like Wyatt Family — but how did this mysterious song find its way to WWE in the first place?
Singer-songwriter Mark Crozer finally revealed the backstage story during his appearance on Ropes N Riffs.
“I’m British, which surprises people because the song has this swampy, Southern rock vibe,” Crozer admitted. “I actually wrote it years earlier while I was living in the UK. It felt really different from my other work, so I wasn’t sure what to do with it. Eventually, I submitted it to a New York-based music library, and they added it to their catalog — where it just sat for a while.”
That’s when fate (and Bray Wyatt’s creative vision) stepped in.

“From my understanding, Bray was very hands-on about his music. He discovered the track in that library and immediately decided, ‘That’s the one I want.’ The rest is history,” Crozer said.
Wyatt’s instincts were spot-on — the song became a chilling part of his persona, giving fans goosebumps every time the lantern lit up an arena.
Crozer even got the chance to bring the theme to life on the grandest stage of them all, performing it live at WrestleMania 30 in front of thousands of WWE fans.
