Masked Attacker Who Took Out Bron Breakker at Royal Rumble Revealed—But WWE’s Real Plan Is Even Bigger

Bron Breakker entered the 2026 WWE Royal Rumble as one of the hottest favorites to win. Less than five minutes later, he was gone — and the reason shocked everyone.

As Breakker made his entrance, a masked attacker blindsided him before he could even step into the ring. While the chaos unfolded on the ramp, Oba Femi — the No. 1 entrant — waited calmly. The moment Breakker staggered into the ring, Femi took advantage and quickly eliminated him, ending Breakker’s Rumble hopes in stunning fashion.

Naturally, the WWE Universe immediately began speculating about the attacker’s identity.

Early theories pointed toward Logan Paul, but “The Maverick” shut those rumors down himself on his podcast. The mystery deepened until the High Spot podcast reported that the man under the mask was Grayson Waller. The report raised eyebrows because Waller wasn’t originally scheduled for the Royal Rumble at all and had been advertised for an NXT live event in Florida the same weekend. That appearance was quietly scrapped, and Waller was instead sent to Saudi Arabia — fueling belief that he was involved in the Rumble angle.

But that’s where the story takes a sharp turn.

According to BodySlam’s Cory Hays, the masked attack wasn’t really about Waller — or even Breakker — in the long run. Hays reported that WWE executed the angle because Seth Rollins is expected to return to television before WrestleMania 42. In other words, the ambush was a setup, not a reveal.

This development strongly hints at a long-teased WrestleMania 42 showdown between Bron Breakker and Seth Rollins. Their tension began months ago on Monday Night RAW following Crown Jewel, where Rollins suffered a shoulder injury while performing a coast-to-coast headbutt on Cody Rhodes. Since then, “The Visionary” has been sidelined, rehabbing and awaiting clearance.

Now, with Rollins’ return reportedly imminent, WWE appears to be laying the groundwork for a blockbuster WrestleMania feud — using a masked attacker, a shocking Rumble elimination, and a carefully planted mystery to get there.

The mask may be off, but the real story is only just beginning.
