It has been a rough couple of weeks for The Queen. Fans watching SmackDown saw Charlotte Flair make her way to the ring, but for once, it wasn’t to celebrate a victory. The 14-time World Champion found herself on the outside looking in at the Elimination Chamber, and the reality of the situation is starting to hit hard.

If you missed it, Charlotte’s dreams of heading to WrestleMania were crushed last week in a heartbreaking Triple Threat Qualifying match. She had Nia Jax locked in the Figure Eight, victory within her grasp, when Kiana James swooped in and stole the pin right out from under her. One second she was about to punch her ticket, and the next, she was watching her hopes vanish.

Fast forward to this week’s SmackDown, and The Queen was a shadow of her usual confident self. Backstage, she looked visibly deflated. Her tag team partner and real-life friend, Alexa Bliss, approached her with genuine concern.

“I’m fine,” Charlotte insisted.

But as the cameras kept rolling, it was clear she wasn’t. One by one, the women who are heading to Chicago—Kiana James, Giulia, and even Champion Jade Cargill—passed by. Each interaction seemed to weigh heavier on her than the last.

Later that night, Charlotte took to Instagram with a simple post that spoke volumes: a photo with the caption simply stating she was “fine.” But for those who know the fierce competitor, “fine” is usually code for “falling apart.”

However, it isn’t all doom and gloom for The Queen. While she won’t be stepping inside the steel structure this Saturday, her heart will be in the ring.

Charlotte took to Twitter to throw her full support behind Alexa Bliss. Despite her own disappointment, she made it clear she believes her friend has what it takes to run the gauntlet.

In a tweet that warmed the hearts of the WWE Universe, Charlotte pointed out that the odds are stacked in Bliss’s favor, predicting that “Lexi” will punch her ticket to The Show of Shows.

With a lineup that includes Rhea Ripley, Asuka, Tiffany Stratton, and Raquel Rodriguez, the Women’s Elimination Chamber is already looking like a show-stealer. The only question now is: will Charlotte be watching from the sidelines, or will she find a way to insert herself back into the WrestleMania conversation before it’s too late?
