Chris Jericho’s WrestleMania 42 Future Suddenly in Doubt After Major Touring Announcement

Chris Jericho’s Road to WrestleMania 42 just took an unexpected turn—and it’s not inside a wrestling ring.

Fans already raised eyebrows when Jericho was nowhere to be seen in the 2026 Men’s Royal Rumble. Now, the WWE legend has fueled even more speculation by revealing a packed music schedule that runs straight through WrestleMania season.

Jericho recently announced that Kuarantine, a band he fronts alongside his longtime group Fozzy, will be heading out on a live tour in April 2026. The timing couldn’t be more intriguing. The band is set to perform shows in New York and Massachusetts just weeks before WrestleMania 42 descends on Las Vegas, a period when WWE usually locks in its biggest surprises.

That’s only part of the story. Jericho is also committed to an extensive Fozzy tour across the United Kingdom throughout February 2026, beginning February 6 in Brighton. The overseas run will keep him away from the U.S. during a crucial stretch of WWE’s build toward WrestleMania.

With Jericho juggling multiple tours, questions are growing louder about whether a WWE return is realistically on the table this year. While the former world champion has previously stated he’d be open to coming back if the timing feels right, his calendar suggests anything but flexibility.

Adding to the mystery, Jericho hasn’t wrestled in AEW since the Dynasty pay-per-view in April 2025. That absence has kept fans guessing about his next move—and whether wrestling is currently taking a backseat to music.

As WrestleMania 42 draws closer, Jericho’s busy touring schedule has left fans asking the same question: is this just a temporary pause from WWE, or a clear sign that a WrestleMania appearance isn’t happening this year?
