🔥 Chris Jericho Leaving AEW? WWE Reportedly Ready to Drop Millions to Bring Him Home! 🔥

It looks like The Ayatollah of Rock ’n’ Rolla might be back on WWE’s radar!

According to a new report from Fightful Select, multiple major wrestling promotions — including WWE — are showing serious interest in signing Chris Jericho once his current AEW contract expires this December.

Yes, you read that right — Y2J could be on his way back to where it all began!

Sources within WWE have reportedly said that if Jericho becomes a free agent, he would “almost 100%” be in line for a massive, multi-million dollar deal. The company sees Jericho’s potential return as a huge asset, especially for nostalgia-based programming and major storylines that could pop ratings.

However, it’s not all one-sided. AEW reportedly has the financial muscle to match or even beat WWE’s offer, and insiders say there’s been no tension between Jericho and Tony Khan’s team. In fact, Jericho is said to maintain a strong working relationship with AEW management and continues to enjoy a high level of creative freedom in his storylines.

Despite that, one eyebrow-raising sign has fans talking — Jericho’s upcoming “Rock ‘n’ Wrestling Rager at Sea Cruise” set for November 7–11, 2026, sailing from Miami to the Bahamas, does not feature any AEW talent for the first time since the cruise began in 2020.

That’s got some people wondering… is Jericho quietly preparing for life after AEW?

For context, Jericho joined AEW in 2019, becoming the company’s first-ever World Champion and one of its biggest stars. He’s also held the ROH World Championship and the now-retired FTW Title. His last AEW appearance came on the April 9 episode of Dynamite, following his loss to Bandido at the Dynasty pay-per-view. After the match, Jericho delivered an emotional promo before storming off — telling his Learning Tree proteges Big Bill and Bryan Keith that he needed a change.

AEW President Tony Khan has made it clear that he still considers Jericho “a vital part of AEW” and hopes to keep him around. But if WWE throws enough money — and nostalgia — into the mix, could we see the return of Y2J on Raw or SmackDown in 2026?

Fans might want to break out the list again — because Chris Jericho’s next move could shake the wrestling world all over again.
