After the segment, instead of leaving the ring the traditional way, Punk decided to get flashy. He attempted to hop over the top rope, land on the apron, and transition into a smooth handstand-style exit.

But things didn’t go as planned. Punk completely miscalculated and slammed his back directly onto the hardest part of the ring — the apron. “They just brought Nikki Bella back — that was a big deal. Get Nikki over first before bringing in AJ Lee. Now neither one is going to get the focus they deserve.”
