Dominik Mysterio Accuses Rey Mysterio of “Abuse” as Family Feud Heats Up Again
Dominik Mysterio isn’t holding back anymore. The 28-year-old WWE star has reignited his long-running feud with his father, Rey Mysterio — this time claiming he should have called the police on his dad for “abuse.”
The tension between father and son has been boiling since Dominik shockingly turned on Rey at Clash at the Castle 2022, betraying not only his father but also WWE Hall of Famer Adam “Edge” Copeland. Since then, Dominik has embraced his dark side, aligning himself with Rhea Ripley and joining The Judgment Day — a move that tore the Mysterio family apart on screen.
A Family Broken on WWE TV
The storyline became even more dramatic when Dominik was “arrested” during a Thanksgiving segment after barging into the Mysterio family home. The chaos eventually led to their highly emotional father-vs-son clash at WrestleMania 39, where Rey taught his rebellious son a long-awaited lesson.
Even after that showdown, the bad blood didn’t stop. They found themselves on opposite sides again at WrestleMania 40 — and most recently on this week’s episode of RAW.
RAW Fight Clip Sparks Dominik’s Latest Outburst

During an appearance on ESPN’s First Take, Dominik revisited a clip from Monday’s six-man tag match involving himself, Rey, Sheamus, Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, and John Cena. Rey helped Cena’s team secure the win — but Dom focused on something else entirely:
“I’m not a fan of fighting my father because he takes advantage of me being his son. He uses me in ways fathers shouldn’t. Look at this — who kicks their own son like that? I should’ve called the police. It’s abuse.”
Dominik’s comments have once again thrown fuel on one of WWE’s longest and most emotional family storylines.
Dom vs. Cena: Championship Rematch Incoming
Despite the family drama, Dominik’s immediate focus is on reclaiming the WWE Intercontinental Championship. He will challenge John Cena for the title at Survivor Series: WarGames on November 29 in his hometown of San Diego.
But with the event taking place so close to home, many fans believe Rey Mysterio could show up — making Dom’s night even more complicated.
The Last Chapter of John Cena’s Legendary Career
Cena, who is entering the final stretch of his in-ring career, won’t have Dominik as his last opponent, but Dom will be part of Cena’s final major feud before retirement at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13.
Dominik didn’t hide how meaningful that is for him:
“It’s a huge blessing to get three of his last four matches.”
But at the same time, he made it clear he isn’t looking to play the respectful student:
“I’m excited to put the final nail in his coffin.”
Cena, for his part, has praised Dominik’s potential but also warned that the rising star still has a lot to learn.
