🔥 “WWE Did It On Purpose!” Goldberg Blasts WWE For Letting Asuka Break His Legendary Streak — ‘I Have Nothing Against Her, But…’ 🔥
Wrestling legend Goldberg isn’t one to hold back — and in a recent interview, he dropped a bombshell revelation about his iconic undefeated streak and how WWE seemingly went out of their way to end it.
Appearing on Real Talk with Mike Burke, Goldberg reflected on his legendary WCW run, where he racked up a jaw-dropping 173 straight victories during the height of the Monday Night Wars. But according to the Hall of Famer, WWE made sure that kind of dominance would never happen again — and they did it intentionally.
“They already did,” Goldberg said. “Some girl in WWE. They did it on purpose. I have nothing against the girl, by any means, but yeah…”
The “girl” Goldberg referred to is none other than Asuka, who went on a mind-blowing 914-day undefeated streak in WWE — shattering Goldberg’s once-untouchable record.
Goldberg didn’t mince words when discussing his complex feelings toward WWE, noting that his WCW success may have rubbed some people the wrong way after WWE absorbed its biggest rival.

“I was part of WCW when we were kicking their ass in the Monday Night Wars,” he said. “I didn’t know what was going on at the time, I was just on one of the sides. Now, one side dissolves and the other one consumes everything, so they can treat everyone and everything the way they want. There’s always going to be that bird in their ass that I was part of a company where I became champion fast — and we were beating them in ratings.”
Despite his frustrations, Goldberg made it clear he holds no grudge against Asuka, praising her for her incredible accomplishments inside the ring.
The WWE Hall of Famer officially wrapped up his career in July, when he faced off against Gunther in what turned out to be his final retirement match.
Whether you loved or hated his dominance, there’s no denying Goldberg’s legacy — and now, it seems the man himself believes WWE’s history books were rewritten on purpose.
