“I would be interested in seeing Gunther and Lesnar. How’s that sound? It sounds good right off the bat. Well, I think that might work.”

Mantell further noted that while WWE could book Lesnar against someone like Bronson Reed, he didn’t believe that matchup had the same star power or box office appeal. Gunther vs. Lesnar, on the other hand, is a once-in-a-lifetime collision between two of the most dominant forces in WWE history.
