WWE Star Jacob Fatu Just Debuted a Massive New Tattoo Right Before WrestleMania 42

Jacob Fatu is letting fans get an up-close look at the fresh ink he secretly added to his collection just days before stepping onto the biggest stage in pro wrestling.

The new body art was first noticed during his hard-hitting SmackDown match against Tama Tonga on April 10. Eagle-eyed viewers spotted something different on the outside of his left arm, and now the full design has been revealed. Tattoo artist Michael Fatutoa, who goes by @samoan_mike online, posted a video breaking down the entire piece. The artwork wraps around Fatu’s existing “Journey” tattoo, giving his left arm a completely new look.

There is a lot riding on this new look because Fatu is headed straight into what might be the most dangerous match of his career at WrestleMania 42. He is set to fight Drew McIntyre in an Unsanctioned Match, which means just about anything can happen with no rules to hold them back.

That fight goes down during the first hour of WrestleMania Saturday on April 18, airing on ESPN 2 as part of WWE’s fresh broadcast deal. Also packed into that same opening time slot is a six-man tag match featuring Logan Paul, Austin Theory and IShowSpeed taking on LA Knight, Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso. Only one of those two matches will officially kick off the entire WrestleMania 42 weekend.

For Fatu, the stakes are even higher. His unsanctioned fight with McIntyre will be one of the first things casual ESPN viewers see when they tune in. That puts extra pressure on both men to deliver a show-stealing performance that sells the rest of the weekend to a mainstream audience.
