Former WWE Manager Sends Clear Message to WWE About Jey Uso
Jey Uso has become one of the most talked-about names in WWE again—but not entirely for the right reasons.
After spending months carving out his own identity as a singles star, “The YEET Master” is back where it all began. Jey has reunited with his twin brother Jimmy Uso, officially returning to the tag team division and putting the rest of WWE’s teams on notice. While fans are happy to see The Usos together again, the move has sparked fresh debate about whether WWE has quietly hit pause on Jey Uso’s singles run.
Some believe creative simply doesn’t have a strong direction for Jey as a solo act right now. Others feel he hasn’t fully delivered on the expectations that came with his breakout push.
Dutch Mantell Calls Out One Big Issue
Veteran wrestling manager Dutch Mantell recently weighed in on Jey Uso during Story Time with Dutch Mantell, and his message to WWE was blunt: Jey’s entrance needs a serious overhaul.
Mantell pointed out that while fans initially loved Jey’s babyface turn and his infectious “YEET” energy, the act has started to feel repetitive. According to him, the long, drawn-out entrance—sometimes stretching past ten minutes—has worn out its welcome.

Mantell argued that those kinds of entrances should be reserved for megastars like Roman Reigns or Brock Lesnar, not someone still solidifying their spot at the very top.
“I love WWE to death, but come on,” Mantell said. “Some of those entrances are way too long. By the time he gets to the ring, you already know who he is—and I don’t think anyone is buying a ticket or tuning in just to watch him walk down the aisle for 10 to 12 minutes.”
What’s Next for Jey Uso?
Adding to the intrigue, Jey Uso has teased hints of a possible heel turn in recent weeks, but nothing concrete has happened yet. That uncertainty has only fueled more discussion among fans and insiders about where his character is headed.
Whether WWE tweaks his presentation, reignites his singles push, or leans into a darker edge remains to be seen. For now, one thing is clear: Jey Uso is still a major talking point—and people are paying close attention to what WWE does with him next.
