💥 John Cena’s Dad Drops Emotional Text After AJ Styles Match—Calls It “A Masterclass In Wrestling” 💥
John Cena’s father just shared what might be the most heartwarming (and brutally honest) reaction to his son’s recent WWE showdown — and fans are loving it.
During an interview with SK Wrestling, John Cena Sr. opened up about his son’s blockbuster match against AJ Styles at WWE Crown Jewel 2025, calling it “a wrestling clinic” that every young superstar should study.
“They worked so well together. They read the crowd, they listened, and they delivered exactly what the fans wanted,” Cena Sr. said. “That’s how it’s supposed to be done.”
Cena Sr. praised both men for their perfect chemistry and storytelling — but he didn’t hold back when it came to criticizing WWE’s creative team. He said the buildup to the match was “very poor” compared to the world-class talent involved.
“It was a weak storyline leading to a phenomenal match,” he admitted.
After the match, Cena Sr. revealed that he wasted no time sending a heartfelt text to his son.
“I wrote, ‘Kid, you still got it.’ And John replied, ‘I’m glad you enjoyed it, Dad. It was a lot of fun.’”
Fans might want to grab a tissue for this part — Cena Sr. also spoke highly of AJ Styles, hinting that the Phenomenal One might be hanging up his boots soon.
“If AJ really retires next year, that’ll be another sad day for wrestling. He’s one of the few left who truly understand ring psychology,” he said.
As for John Cena’s own career, his father revealed the mindset that’s guided him for years: knowing when to step away gracefully.
“He told me, ‘When I can’t give fans what I used to, it’s time to think about retiring.’”
Cena Sr. said his son has always respected WWE but also understood there’s a life beyond the ring.
“There’s life after wrestling, and John always knew that. But no matter where he goes — Hollywood or anywhere else — he’s never forgotten where he came from.”

🔥 Bonus: WWE Veteran Blasts Triple H For “Stealing The Spotlight” 🔥
Former WWE star Stevie Richards didn’t hold back when taking shots at Triple H, calling him an “attention wh*re” who can’t resist making himself the center of every WWE production.
On his podcast, Richards mocked the WrestleMania 42 promo, claiming it looked more like a “Triple H tribute video” than a commercial for the biggest wrestling show of the year.
“He’s doing the voiceovers, appearing in the visuals, and popping up everywhere,” Richards said. “At this point, WWE fans could play ‘Where’s Waldo?’ with him.”
Richards even compared The Game to UFC’s Dana White — but with one big difference.
“Dana’s loud, sure, but you don’t see him plastered on every fight poster. Triple H? He wants to be the show, not just run it.”
According to Richards, some of Triple H’s spotlight obsession might not even be his fault — it could be the people around him boosting his ego.
“It’s probably folks backstage hyping him up to stay on his good side. Either way, the guy’s everywhere,” he laughed.
Would you agree with John Cena Sr. that the AJ Styles match was a “masterclass”? Or is Stevie Richards right about Triple H taking over WWE’s spotlight? 👇
