WWE Fans Panic After Scary Kofi Kingston Injury on RAW – Here’s the Latest Update
Kofi Kingston gave fans a big scare on this week’s episode of WWE RAW after a nasty in-ring moment against LA Knight.
The former WWE Champion was rocked when Knight’s knee accidentally connected with his head, leaving Kingston visibly dazed. With Xavier Woods at ringside looking concerned, many feared the worst for the New Day star.
But there’s good news. According to Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer, Kingston is not on WWE’s internal injury list. In other words – he’s shaken up, but he’s going to be fine.
“Kofi got rocked with a knee on RAW, but wasn’t listed on the internal injury report after the show, so apparently he’s OK,” Alvarez confirmed.

How the Match Was Set Up
The showdown came after LA Knight confronted GM Adam Pearce, demanding a shot at the World Title by reminding everyone he was the last man to pin Seth Rollins. Moments later, The New Day interrupted to ask for a World Tag Team Title opportunity.
A heated back-and-forth led Pearce to book Knight vs. Kingston for RAW – and although Knight scored the win with a BFT, the match will be remembered for Kingston’s injury scare.
Ongoing Rivalry With Penta
This isn’t the first time Kingston’s health has raised concerns recently. Just two weeks ago, he lost to Penta after taking a brutal springboard Mexican Destroyer.
Afterward, Kingston accused Penta on Instagram of “trying to publicly end” his life – words that poured more fuel onto their heated feud. The New Day have even called for Penta’s finisher to be banned, though WWE has not taken action.
With Grayson Waller also sidelined after eating the same devastating move, the storyline between Penta and The New Day is only getting more intense.
For now, the good news is that Kingston escaped RAW without a serious injury – but fans will be keeping a close eye on his battles ahead.
