John Cena Reveals He Personally Pushed WWE to Go All-In on Logan Paul
John Cena has revealed that he played a behind-the-scenes role in shaping the WWE future of one of the company’s most controversial stars—Logan Paul. Speaking at Fan Expo New Orleans, the 17-time World Champion opened up about how his belief in Logan Paul’s potential helped influence the social media megastar’s decision to sign a long-term, full-time WWE contract. Paul recently confirmed the deal in his vlog, officially committing himself to WWE after years of part-time appearances.
According to Cena, his confidence in Logan Paul grew while the two worked closely together overseas. Cena said he felt it was time to “bet” on someone he believed had a legitimate future in the wrestling business, pointing to their time in Paris as a turning point that helped convince Paul to fully embrace WWE.

Cena and Paul’s on-screen relationship has included both alliances and rivalry. They teamed up at the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event before clashing in a high-profile singles match at Clash in Paris. Those experiences, Cena explained, gave him a firsthand look at Logan Paul’s athleticism, instincts, and ability to thrive under pressure.
With his full-time status now official, Logan Paul is currently positioned as a major player on WWE Raw. He is aligned with Paul Heyman as part of “The Vision” stable alongside Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Austin Theory — a group WWE appears to be heavily investing in moving forward.
Logan Paul is also expected to have a significant presence at the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on January 31. Fans are already speculating whether Paul will enter the 30-man Rumble match, potentially putting himself one win away from a championship opportunity at WrestleMania 42.
With John Cena publicly backing him, Logan Paul’s WWE push now looks more serious than ever.
