Mark Henry Says WWE Has To Bring Back Matt Cardona & Nic Nemeth — “It’s Impossible Not To Use Them”
WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry isn’t mincing words—he genuinely believes WWE would be making a huge mistake if they don’t officially bring back Matt Cardona and Nic Nemeth full-time.
Both stars recently made surprise appearances:
- Matt Cardona popped up on NXT and SmackDown, instantly setting social media on fire.
- Nic Nemeth returned to Raw for the “Last Time Is Now” tournament, receiving a major reaction.
Speaking with TMZ Inside The Ring, Henry said the fan response alone proves WWE needs them back.
Henry explained:
“The reaction Cardona got at Madison Square Garden… it’s impossible not to use him again. It’s like looking at a pile of money and saying ‘nah, I don’t want it.’ The whole internet exploded. You can’t ignore that. WWE knows he’s money, and trust me—he’s coming back.”
When it comes to Nic Nemeth, Henry believes it’s not if WWE will bring him back, but when.
According to Henry, Nemeth’s time away has only boosted his value. He’s thrived outside WWE, working in TNA and even helping elevate stars like Joe Hendry while still proving he can hang with WWE-level talent.
Henry added:
“He’s basically already back. His run outside WWE showed his worth. It’s only a matter of time before they realize they should’ve kept him and bring him home. The ones who return are the ones thinking about the business—not just themselves.”
In Henry’s eyes, both men are too valuable, too popular, and too ready for another big WWE run for the company to pass them up.
