🔥 Kane Breaks Silence on Mick Foley Cutting Ties With WWE — And He Doesn’t Hold Back
Mick Foley’s decision to cut ties with WWE has sent shockwaves through the wrestling world—and now, one of his most famous rivals has finally spoken up.
Foley recently announced he was stepping away from WWE due to the company’s continued association with Donald Trump. Trump, who has long-standing ties to WWE and is a Hall of Famer, remains connected to TKO Group Holdings, the parent company of both WWE and UFC. For Foley, Trump’s recent comments following the murder of Rob Reiner and his wife crossed a personal and moral line he couldn’t ignore.
The Hardcore Legend made his stance public, saying he could no longer be associated with a company linked to Trump. That statement quickly sparked debate among fans—and drew a response from Glenn Jacobs, better known to wrestling fans as Kane.

Jacobs, now the Republican Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee, addressed Foley’s decision during an appearance on Newsmax. While he strongly disagreed with Foley’s political stance, Kane made it clear that there was no personal animosity.
According to Jacobs, Foley’s reaction wasn’t surprising, given their past political discussions. He emphasized that despite being on opposite sides, their conversations have always remained respectful—something he believes is missing from today’s public discourse.
Kane didn’t mince words about his disagreement, but he firmly defended Foley’s right to speak his mind.
“I think Mick is wrong,” Jacobs admitted, “but he’s absolutely entitled to his opinion.” He went on to stress that the freedom to disagree—without hostility—is what makes the country strong, adding that he wishes that level of civility extended beyond wrestling and into broader political conversations.
While Foley and Kane may now stand on opposite sides of a heated political divide, this exchange shows that mutual respect still exists between two of wrestling’s most iconic figures—even when the gloves come off outside the ring.
