Nic Nemeth Reflects on Working with WWE Rising Star Bron Breakker
Nic Nemeth, better known to WWE fans as Dolph Ziggler, has shared his experiences working with one of WWE’s brightest young talents, Bron Breakker. With a career spanning 19 years, Nemeth has faced legendary opponents like Shawn Michaels and Goldberg, and his insights into working with Breakker offer a glimpse into the young star’s potential.
Towards the end of his WWE career, Nemeth spent time in the developmental brand NXT, where he captured the NXT Championship. During this period, he found himself in the ring with Breakker, who has since become a major player in WWE and currently holds the Intercontinental Championship.
In a recent interview on “Busted Open Radio,” Nemeth reflected on his time working with Breakker. “A year or two ago, I did a 6 or 8-week program with [Bron Breakker],” Nemeth recalled. As a former World Heavyweight Champion, he anticipated a tough challenge from the rookie.
However, Breakker surprised him with his natural talent and rapid improvement. “I was blown away by how quickly he was picking things up,” Nemeth said. “He was so smart about things you shouldn’t be smart about yet.” Nemeth compared Breakker’s instincts to those of Randy Orton, noting that “it’s probably like Randy, where it’s in your blood to have these reactions.”
Nemeth also discussed Breakker’s current partnership with Sami Zayn, highlighting the intriguing contrast between their styles. “Hearing what goes on between Sami Zayn and Breakker every day at work can be quite irritating,” Nemeth joked, referring to Breakker’s maturity despite being just 26 years old.
The young star’s growth impressed Nemeth even more. “He’s good, and I’m like, ‘Come on, man, you should still be learning at this point.'” Nemeth praised Breakker’s ability to power out of pinfalls with mere milliseconds to spare and commended his timing and strength as key factors in his success.
Recently, Breakker, now the Intercontinental Champion, expressed his desire to retire WWE legend John Cena. Nemeth’s remarks underscore the bright future awaiting this rising star, whose skills continue to evolve. As Breakker’s career progresses, fans and critics alike will be eager to see how far his talent takes him in WWE.
