Paul George and the Philadelphia 76ers Met with Boos at WWE SmackDown in Their Own Arena
The Philadelphia 76ers didn’t precisely get hold of a hero’s welcome on their domestic turf.
During the March 7 episode of WWE SmackDown, held on the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Sixers celebrity Paul George and numerous teammates were noticed in the crowd. George proudly held a 76ers NBA Legacy Title, but the reception became a ways from friendly. Instead of cheers, the fatherland crowd showered the group with boos, making for an ungainly second in their very own area.
