The Mexican sensation recently opened up about his reaction to the glowing comments made by WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman on the latest season of WWE: Unreal. Heyman, known for being selective with his praise, went out of his way to highlight Penta’s incredible performance in the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match, stating that the company truly has something “special” in the luchador.
Hearing those words from the mastermind behind The Bloodline and so many legendary careers left Penta feeling emotional and motivated.
“Bro, to be honest with you, Paul Heyman means everything about this sport,” Penta shared. “He knows everything you need to become a big star. So, I say, ‘Thank you for the speech about Penta.’ I feel so proud about me. I feel so proud about all my people, all my fans.”
Since storming onto the scene in January 2025, the former AEW star has been on a mission. The WWE Universe has embraced him with open arms, delivering thunderous reactions every time his music hits. However, despite the love from the fans and the respect from legends, gold has eluded him so far.
That could all change on Monday Night RAW.
Penta is set to step into the ring for another shot at championship glory when he challenges the cunning Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental Title. It’s a massive opportunity for Penta to silence the critics and turn Heyman’s prophecy into reality.
