Randy Orton Drops Major Hint About WrestleMania 42 Plans Just Days After Elimination Chamber Win

The Viper is already giving fans a sneak peek at what could go down in Las Vegas. Randy Orton punched his ticket to WrestleMania 42 with a huge victory in the men’s Elimination Chamber match last Saturday, and now he’s already teasing what might be coming at the Showcase of the Immortals.

The 14-time world champion outlasted Cody Rhodes in the final moments of the chaotic bout, capitalizing after Drew McIntyre interfered and attacked Rhodes. The American Nightmare fought back against McIntyre, hitting him with a Cross Rhodes following an RKO from Orton. But The Apex Predator wasn’t done there—he immediately delivered an RKO to Rhodes as well and scored the pin to secure his spot against McIntyre for the WWE Undisputed Championship at WrestleMania.

But Orton isn’t waiting until April to send a message.

In a creative TikTok video that’s getting major attention, Orton was shown playing with his action figure—specifically hitting an RKO on McIntyre’s miniature replica. The video ends with Orton revealing himself and placing the WWE Title toy belt over his shoulder, making it crystal clear he’s thinking about championship number 15.

A fan account on X reshared the clip, calling it a literal “WrestleMania spoiler,” and it’s easy to see why fans are reading between the lines.

This isn’t the first time these two heavyweights have crossed paths with the big gold belt on the line. During the pandemic era, McIntyre successfully defended the WWE Championship against Orton twice before The Viper finally dethroned him inside Hell in a Cell to capture his 14th world title. McIntyre would eventually win it back in a No Disqualification match on RAW.

The Elimination Chamber win also put Orton in some exclusive company. This marked his 10th time competing inside the steel structure, but only his second victory. He joins Edge as the only two-time winners of the match. Oddly enough, both legends also share the distinction of being eliminated first twice in Chamber matches—Orton in 2010 and 2021, and Edge in 2011 and 2015.

With Orton already planting seeds about walking out of Las Vegas with gold, the build to McIntyre vs. Orton for the WWE Undisputed Championship is officially underway. And if their past battles are any indication, this one’s going to be personal.
