Rikishi Sounds Alarm on WWE’s Wyatt Sicks Plans: “Did They Just Give Up on Bo Dallas?”

WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi isn’t convinced the company still believes in the Wyatt Sicks. Speaking on a recent episode of Off The Top, Rikishi weighed in on the troubling direction of the Wyatt Sicks faction following their loss of the WWE Tag Team Championships to Solo Sikoa’s MFTs on SmackDown. The defeat, which happened just weeks ago, has fueled growing concern among fans—and Rikishi seems to share that skepticism.

According to Rikishi, the warning signs were there from the beginning.

He explained that when Bo Dallas stepped in to carry forward the legacy of his late brother Bray Wyatt, the emotional connection with fans was undeniable. The audience wanted it to work. The locker room wanted it to work. But with that came enormous pressure.

Rikishi pointed out that Bo wasn’t just debuting a new act—he was stepping into a character that meant everything to wrestling fans worldwide. In his words, when you inherit something that powerful, the expectation is simple but brutal: you have to be just as good, or even better.

While Rikishi praised Bo Dallas as a capable and talented performer, he made it clear that talent alone isn’t enough in modern WWE.

He stressed that wrestlers can only do so much if the creative support isn’t there. Writing, presentation, camera work, special effects, and promo direction all play a massive role—especially for a character-driven faction like the Wyatt Sicks.

That’s where Rikishi believes things may have gone wrong.

Rather than blaming Bo or the rest of the group, Rikishi suggested WWE’s creative team may have dropped the ball. He openly questioned whether the company simply lost interest in the faction or if something behind the scenes caused them to abandon the project altogether.

Looking ahead, Rikishi admitted the future feels uncertain. With WrestleMania just a couple of months away, he said the Wyatt Sicks could either be quietly fading out or being held back for a surprise comeback tied to a bigger angle.

Still, he hasn’t given up hope.

Rikishi emphasized that the group remains loaded with talent and strong character work. In his view, the issue has never been their in-ring ability. If WWE chooses to repackage them correctly, he believes the Wyatt Sicks could still thrive, especially in darker, seasonal storylines that lean into their supernatural edge.

For now, though, even Rikishi admits he’s on the outside looking in—and all he can do is share his honest take.

Whether this is the calm before a major return or the quiet end of a once-promising faction remains to be seen. But one thing is clear: the doubts are growing, and fans are watching closely.
