Roman Reigns Finally Meets His Celebrity Twin Jason Momoa — And Fans Are Loving It
WWE’s Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns, has conquered the wrestling world for years, and now he’s slowly stepping into Hollywood. But during the shooting of his upcoming film Street Fighter, Reigns got to check off a fun personal moment — meeting his long-time celebrity lookalike, Jason Momoa.
For years, fans have pointed out how similar the two stars look. From their massive build to their long hair, iconic beards, and proud Samoan roots — the resemblance is undeniable. Even Momoa once admitted in an interview with Chris Van Vliet that he’s well aware of the comparison, and he finds it amusing.
Now, the two powerhouses are officially sharing the screen.
Both Reigns and Momoa are part of the stacked cast of the 2026 Street Fighter movie, inspired by the legendary video game series. Reigns will be bringing the fierce character Akuma to life, while Momoa is set to play Blanka. And Reigns won’t be the only wrestler stepping into Capcom’s world — Cody Rhodes and New Japan star Hirooki Goto are also part of the film.
With his WWE schedule already reduced, Reigns seems to be walking the same path as The Rock, Batista, and John Cena — wrestling megastars who became Hollywood regulars. Until recently, his only notable movie moment was a small part in Hobbs and Shaw. But 2025 changed everything: he appeared in Eddie Murphy’s The Pickup and even voiced Zebro Zebraxton in Disney’s Zootopia 2.
Now, with Street Fighter on the horizon, Reigns’ Hollywood journey looks ready to explode.
The highly anticipated movie hits theaters on October 16, 2026, featuring a massive cast that includes Noah Centino, Callina Liang, Andrew Koji, David Dastmalchian, Eric Andre, 50 Cent, Andrew Schulz, UFC champion Alexander Volkanovski, and many more.
