🔥 WWE Bombshell: Seth Rollins’ WrestleMania 42 Dream in Serious Danger After Injury Setback 🔥
Seth Rollins is doing everything in his power to make it back in time for WrestleMania—but behind the scenes, things aren’t looking nearly as certain as fans might hope.
According to new backstage reports, Rollins’ return timeline is cutting it dangerously close to WWE’s biggest show of the year. While The Visionary is aiming for a March comeback, there’s growing belief that WrestleMania 42 could move forward without him.
Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Rollins himself recently estimated he’ll be out for another three to four months. With WrestleMania just three-and-a-half months away, WWE is reportedly treating his status as a major question mark, not a lock.

“The option is still open, but it’s far from a sure thing,” Meltzer noted.
And here’s the real shocker…
Before the injury, WWE reportedly had Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns penciled in as a WrestleMania main event—with the championship on the line. That plan? Completely dead.
Instead, the company is now heavily leaning toward Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns as the marquee showdown, signaling a massive creative shift caused by Rollins’ injury.
Rollins recently confirmed on Mohr Stories that he tore his rotator cuff during his match with Cody Rhodes in Perth and underwent surgery nearly nine weeks ago. While he’s staying optimistic and hopes to be medically cleared by mid-to-late March, WWE’s doctors will have the final say—and the creative machine is already moving on.
Right now, the biggest question isn’t just if Seth Rollins can return in time…
It’s whether WWE will even have a place for him if WrestleMania plans are finalized without him.
Should WWE squeeze Rollins onto the WrestleMania 42 card if he’s cleared at the last moment? Or should they protect him and wait for a full recovery?
