🔥 HBK on Wheels! Shawn Michaels Spotted on Scooter After Major Double Knee Surgery—Triple H’s Gift Causes Chaos 😲
WWE legend Shawn Michaels is officially in recovery mode—but in true HBK fashion, he’s turning a tough situation into must-see entertainment.
The WWE Hall of Famer and current Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative recently revealed that he underwent successful double knee replacement surgery toward the end of 2025. The procedure was the result of decades of punishment Michaels endured during one of the most physically demanding in-ring careers in wrestling history.
Michaels had previously confirmed his plans for the surgery back in September 2025 while speaking on the Nightcap podcast. At the time, he admitted it was another chapter in a long list of medical procedures, which already included a back fusion and a shoulder replacement.
Now recovering, HBK shared a lighthearted update that instantly went viral among fans.
According to Michaels, Triple H surprised him with a motorized scooter as a late birthday gift while he recovers from surgery. While thoughtful, Michaels joked that the gift may have backfired in the most hilarious way possible.
In a recently shared video, Michaels can be seen riding the scooter backstage at NXT, weaving through equipment, knocking things over, and causing playful chaos—proving that even limited mobility can’t slow down “The Heartbreak Kid.”

“A couple of months ago, it was my birthday, but also I got both of my knees replaced,” Michaels said.
“Because of all that, my best friend got me a brand-new late birthday gift. Unfortunately, I’m afraid that gift backfired quite a bit.”
Despite the surgery, Michaels continues to be a driving force behind WWE’s next generation, regularly appearing backstage at NXT and mentoring young talent.
His legendary status was further cemented late last year when former WWE star Dijak publicly praised Michaels in an interview with Wrestling Epicenter. Dijak credited HBK not just for his technical brilliance, but for his unmatched ability to elevate moments inside the ring.
Dijak explained that Michaels understood how different body types tell stories differently—and mastered the art of making every moment feel special.
That ability, according to Dijak, is exactly why Shawn Michaels deserves to be called “the greatest in-ring wrestler of all time.”
Even on a scooter, HBK continues to prove why his influence on wrestling—both past and present—remains untouchable. 💔🔥
