There’s increasing speculation that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson might be done with WWE for good. Former wrestling personality Jonathan Coachman recently shared a blunt take during a discussion on a wrestling podcast, suggesting the global superstar has moved far beyond his wrestling roots.
According to Coachman, Johnson is now deeply focused on strengthening his image as a top-tier Hollywood actor and influential public figure. Stepping back into the wrestling ring could clash with the brand he has carefully built over the years. The shift from being known as a wrestler-turned-actor to a full-time entertainment powerhouse may be one of the biggest reasons fans haven’t seen him return to WWE storylines.
There have been whispers about massive paydays being offered for appearances at major international events, including shows in Saudi Arabia. However, insiders believe his packed filming schedule and business commitments make any wrestling comeback extremely difficult to pull off. Simply put, the timing no longer works the way it once did.
Signs Point Toward a Permanent Exit
Many fans still hope for one final blockbuster WWE moment, but recent developments suggest otherwise.
