Triple H Set to Testify in Major WWE–UFC Merger Lawsuit

WWE’s ongoing legal troubles just took another major turn, as Paul “Triple H” Levesque is reportedly scheduled to be questioned under oath regarding the company’s high-profile merger with UFC.

The lawsuit, filed by shareholders, claims that former WWE board members — including Vince McMahon — violated their responsibilities by approving the merger with Endeavor’s UFC. According to the suit, the deal allowed McMahon to stay involved in the company despite a wave of sexual misconduct allegations and the ongoing legal case filed by former employee Janel Grant. Shareholders argue they were ignored in the process.

New court filings, revealed by Wrestlenomics, show that Triple H — now WWE’s Chief Content Officer and one of the company’s top decision-makers — has been ordered to sit for a deposition. He is expected to face detailed questions about how the merger came together, behind-the-scenes discussions, and McMahon’s influence during the process.

Investigators have also subpoenaed phone records tied to TKO’s Chief Operating Officer, Mark Shapiro, signaling that the legal team is widening its review of the merger’s inner workings.

Triple H’s deposition is reportedly set for Tuesday at 11 a.m. However, there’s no confirmation that the public will ever see the details of his testimony.

As for Vince McMahon, he has denied all allegations linked to his involvement in the merger and the controversies surrounding it.
