Paul Heyman Just Made a Shocking Admission About Oba Femi Before His WrestleMania 42 Clash With Brock Lesnar

If you think Brock Lesnar is the most dangerous force in WWE, Paul Heyman wants you to think again.

Just days before Oba Femi steps into the ring for his first-ever WrestleMania match against “The Beast,” his legendary advocate is singing a very different tune. And it might surprise you.

Femi, the 27-year-old former NXT standout, is set to open Night Two of WrestleMania 42 this Sunday. It’s a massive spot for a rookie on the main roster, especially one going one-on-one with Brock Lesnar. But according to Heyman, the moment isn’t too big for him.

During an appearance on The Stephen A. Smith Show, Heyman was asked directly if Femi is as good as everyone says.

“Yeah,” Heyman replied. “He’s poised, he’s calm. He knows it, but it’s with no arrogance.”

That’s when the Hall of Famer got real. Heyman pointed out that unlike so many others who have crumbled under the lights, Femi doesn’t flinch.

“You sit there and you look in his eyes and you realize he’s not nervous. He’s not flinching. It’s not overwhelming to him. He calls himself ‘The Ruler’ Oba Femi, and that’s exactly what he was born to do. He was born to rule.”

Stephen A. Smith then threw Heyman a curveball, noting that the veteran manager sounded more confident talking about Femi than he ever has about Lesnar. Heyman admitted that was accurate, but for a very specific reason.

He explained that he has always wanted someone he could look at and truly say, “That man can beat Brock Lesnar. That man is bigger, faster, and a better combat athlete than Brock Lesnar.” Why? Because that’s the only time Lesnar actually shows up.

“The problem for Brock Lesnar in life is it’s tough to find a challenge for him,” Heyman said. “Otherwise it’s just Brock sitting there going, ‘I’ll just take this guy to Suplex City, I’ll go home, I’ll have a steak.'”

But this time, Heyman insists, things are different. He believes Femi’s raw power, momentum, and sheer violence will finally push Lesnar to his absolute limit.

“Finally there’s somebody who can push Brock Lesnar, and we can see what Brock Lesnar’s limits are,” Heyman said. “This man, this Oba Femi, is going to enable us to present the best Brock Lesnar ever.”

With Lesnar himself reportedly unfazed and Femi looking more confident by the day, Sunday’s opener is shaping up to be less of a squash match and more of a war. And if Heyman is right, the WWE universe might be witnessing the passing of a very violent torch.
